“Although I am not a marketing major or minor, I signed up for the Social Media Marketing class because I know how important social media is in the marketing, communications, advertising, and public relations worlds today. Prior to this class, I had already held three internships working with social media. Even so, this class has taught me information about things such as MailChimp and SEO, that I could not have learned through an internship. This class gives marketing majors, and anyone else who wants to work in the marketing or communications realm an invaluable experience, in that they aren’t just learning about the theories behind marketing tactics. They actually get the chance to put all of it into action, and that is, in my opinion, the best and most productive way to learn.”
